Safety Home Tips For Your Kids: Decorating Your Floor With Area Rugs
Have you ever think if your home is safe for your kids? You may have a great-looking interior, however, if you do not follow some basic safety standards, your house can be a prison with several worst deadly traps that may harm your children. So what to do to make your home a safe and positive place for young children?
The first rule in any home is to keep away things that are dangerous for little kids. This means keeping away hazardous chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, detergents, toilet cleaners and insecticides. Store them somewhere that is out of reach of your children. Never store these things in the kitchen sink, because it is very accessible, even for babies. Better keep them in a laundry room that is locked at all times or in a high cabinet. The same rule applies to medicines. Medicines should not be left anywhere that is within the reach of children.
At the same time, it is suggested that you also include “child-friendly” furniture. For example, you could buy a set of plastic chairs and table for your children, providing safer play spot when they play around. You might also consider purchasing a set of mats. A soft wool carpet in white color is warm and safe enough for your child to play on.
