Area Rugs And Their Power
Area rugs are that one item that many don’t consider in their designs. Area rugs can be placed in mostly every room in the home to give it a cozier and more comfy feel to a design. Placed properly in the room with the right design may complete your look that you’ve been wanting.
If your hallway has a stained, old carpet but you don’t have the monies to fix it at this time, place a great area rug in this location. By placing a great area rug or runner in this spot it may brighten up the look as well. Another great hallway to add an area rug is the entry way of your home. As many will enter the floor may start getting damaged. Putting an area rug down in this area will give your space a great design but also save the live of the floor underneath.
The dining room is another great location for an area rug. Choosing a wonderful design or a larger area rug for this room will complete your design. If you choose a larger area rug make sure the table and chairs pulled out fit on top. You don’t want one or the other not to fit properly. It may also cause unevenness and make people feel as if they’ll slide or tip.
Kitchens are always the one spot people do not place area rugs. They don’t think it’s something that should be done. In fact many now realize that placing area rugs in the kitchen by the stove and sink will ease back pain since they aren’t standing directly on a hard surface. Just make sure if you purchase area rugs for the kitchen that they are durable and washable. You don’t want to put more on your plate to clean every week!
The Rhody Rug Blossom Collection is ideal for the kitchen; made from 60% texturized polypropylene 40% nylon it is a great easy clean solution and with a great range of colors you are sure to find one to match your kitchen.
